After spending a perfectly

........lovely day amongst 120 quilters at the retreat in Midway, I will still have time to stitch my star for the day.  What a charmed life I lead. :-)  Don't misunderstand, life has it's challenges, but after seeing some of the pain and hardship going on around the world, it doesn't take much to feel grateful for the peaceful life I live.

Here are a couple of women from beautiful Moab, Utah showing a quilt that was completed since last year.  So many gorgeous quilts and so little time.

This quilt was being made for someone's son.  It looks like a boys quilt doesn't it.

I love this quilt.  It is not a quick finish, but it is really a fantastic quilt.

This is Amy from Under The Garden Moon, who puts on this retreat every year.  It is a wonderful event, in a beautiful setting.
This quilt being shown was made by someone wanting to have a green quilt for St. Patrick's Day.

Here are two finished quilts from last year.  A Churn Dash block with a pin wheel in the center.

  1. Her truth is only her opinion. God has the truth. Her new age teachings are leading many astray.
